The 13th Annual Chipping Away At CHD Event Was A Big Success ❤️

We’re thrilled to share that this year’s event raised an incredible $280,000, the most ever in our foundation’s history! With over 180 golfers and 50 volunteers, this was the largest group of volunteers we’ve ever had, the day was a true celebration of what we can accomplish together. 

The energy was palpable, the competition friendly, and the weather? Absolutely perfect.

We owe a huge round of applause to Lauren Deegan, our superstar Board member, whose leadership and enthusiasm were key to making this year’s event such a smashing success.

While the golf was fantastic, it was the stories shared that truly touched our hearts. Monica’s heartfelt remembrance of her daughter Peyton, who passed away in October 2023, reminded us of the vital importance of our work. 

And who could forget Kameryn? Once a small child undergoing open-heart surgery, Kameryn is now like other kids her age and is gearing up for college! Her story is a shining example of the progress we’re making together, and it brought smiles all around as we celebrated her journey.

The 13th Annual Chipping Away At CHD event was more than just a day of golf, it was a day of community, laughter, and shared commitment to a cause close to our hearts. With your ongoing support, we’re not just chipping away at CHD, we’re driving toward a future where every child with a congenital heart defect has the chance to thrive.
